Thank you for all the hard work put into this house, loving the view and love looking out the window every morning when waking up. I had my birthday here and I think it is the best birthday present I ever had. Thank you for making it the best.

7th time at Cape Bridgewater, 5th time at this house. The view from the lounge still amazes me. The challenge has now been set – 13km around the Cape and back along the road to house on bike = 1hr 15min, Run/Walk 2hrs 5min, walk 2hrs 36min.

The views are unbelievable – a secluded spot far from the beach highrises! We loved it! Our last day we had lunch out on the deck, sun was out and the wind down- it was a wine with lunch day!

What a wonderful location and fabulous house - well appointed and comfortable for the 8 of us.
Fabulous walk from Bridgewater Lakes to Blowholes - highly recommended. Also great walk from Blowholes back to here. Scenery is magnificent. Full moon added to a spectacular weekend.

Dear Katrin and Gerret,
Just a short note to let you know that we had a fabulous time @ Abalone House. The views from the house are spectacular and just so relaxing. The floor plan was great and perfect for just 2 people - for the first 2 days we didnt think that we were rambling around a big house. We really appreciated the comfortable bed and I loved the suede bedspread in our room. Also having a really clean house with spotless windows was really appreciated. I know it must be hard to keep the windows clean so close to the sea. Our friends also commented on how comfortable their bed was too!
It was great to rent a house that had all the basics there - salt, pepper sugar and oil, although I did not use them as I had already brought such items myself, having rented houses with completely empty kitchens before. The weather was dreadful until Tuesday, so we have used up most of the fire wood unfortunately.
The “trick a treat” box was full so I guess the goblins didn’t come to visit.We look forward to renting the house again in the future and will recommend it to all our friends.

Our stay at the Abalone Beach House was a delightful time and we look forward to going back next year. We had no end of things to do and places to explore. The scenery was just so beautiful and the views breathtaking. Cape Bridgewater was a very special place to visit and we can thoroughly recommend it as a holiday destination.
